There are just better places to spend your time in Budapest and certainly better places to eat food. I have been to Budapest several times and this is probably the one place I would not visit again. The markets is worth about 10 minutes of your time, just to walk from one end to the other and admire the beautiful building that it is housed in and to get a sense of the shops.
Day 12014/07/19
Not only is this a stunning building on the outside, but the inside is even more beautiful and interesting. We took a guided tour and learned much about the history of the building and the rooms we were guided through. A must see!

The castle is charming and quite an eye catcher with its beautiful structure and surroundings. The view from here comprises of almost everything that is worth seeing like the Danube river front. Chain bridge and all the accompanying stretch. On a good weather this place is quite a spot to enjoy but as far as activity remains I doubt there is anything much to this place.
Day 22014/07/20
You can have a good walk in this street. Its full of shops, cafe, and also a theater. It the main street of Budapest so you can't miss it. But its nothing special
This museum is on the Pest side of the Danube, in an impressive building. In the basement there is an excellent display of Roman artifacts – predominantly funerary items, a great many of them being from the town of Aquincum, (only 2 or 3 miles north of Budapest and easily reached by train).
