In spring is when Tana is at its most colorfull state. The red earth and the green leafs mixes with all kind of other colors and smells. The buzzling city is beautiful and charming, but it can be also quite a headache to mave around during daytime as its constantly jammed by hundreds of mini buses and old cars.
Finally out of Tana and on the way to Ampefy. That is only 120 km and even with our old car should be done in a few hours.
There are not too many other cars on the road, but other other passengers of the road slow you down. Sometimes even people sleep on the road, so need always be carefull and drive slow
Madagascars landscape is incredible. Still close to Tana, the earth has the typic red color and mixes with a perfect blue sky.
Finally arrived at Ampefy. The lake looks inviting on that hot day. But swimming is never an option. The risk of beeing killed by some hungry little parasites is much to high.
