Port Aventura is one of the most wonderful travel place for little children! My son was 4 years old, my daughter was 1.5 years old when they visited Port Aventura. And they have enough attractions for visiting and playing during 2 days. In every zone of PA there were 2-5 attractions for my little daughter. The shows were not interesting for them, because of its were in Spanish. My children are going to come back to PA )))
This is Tarragona. We were living in Salou nere Tarragona (about 20 minutes by bus). During the Roman Empire Tarragona was the capital of the Roman province of Nearer Spain, and after merging with Galicia. The New Rambla is the main street which is runs from the balcony of the Mediterranean till monument Castells. This monument were most surprised my children. This monument was erected in Tarragona in 1999 and depicts a "pyramid", consisting of 219 full-size human figures that make up the design quatre de vuit (ie four people at the level of the tower, consisting of eight levels).
Vy son likes railways very much. If your child likes it too, you can visit the railway museum in Vilanova i la Geltrú. Railway Museum Vilanova has a collection of historic rolling stock: 28 steam locomotives, diesel locomotives, electric locomotives, electric trains, passenger cars. Also in the museum you can see the railway equipment, railway tracks and switches, water towers. It's very interesting for children that you can come into the train, under the train and so on.
Costa caribe aquatic park. My children were very glad to splash, dabble, riding water slides and so on. There is a water pool for little children with little slides - my daughter (1.5 years old) was so happy! Attraction El Rio Loco is moderate but very pleasant for our family.
Barselona is my favorite city! It's very interesting for little child. For our first walking in Barselona we arrived to railway station then go to Catalunya Place, made shopping in El Corte Ingles, walked on La Rambla (children were surprised by active statues, especially Christofor Columb who was making mini-show and cried " I see the earth!" in Russian (and many other languages :))). Then we went to the zoo of Barcelona. Where we have our lunch. And about 200 metres there was another railway station, which we came back to Salou (throughout to Tarragona).
