A spontaneous trip to Barcelona with a colleague of mine. Had a few wonderful days there, and discovered some nice parts of a city that is beautiful in its buildings as well as in its people. Must haves are the Sagrada Familia, a church which is still not finished but as impressive as a building to pray could be. Furthermore the beach and the small old districts are wonderful to move through.
Day 12014/04/01
One of the big institutions of Barcelona is the football club. If you are able to you should visit one of their home games. Impressive atmosphere and lot of history.
Day 22014/04/02
La sagrada familia, visit and take your own pictures. Impressive work and still not finished. Worth it to come to Barcelona just to see the sagrada.
Small discricts with lots of cool stores where you can buy such fancy things, like giant model ships and some antique sea-ship stuff.
Day 32014/04/03
One of the impressive ships at the harbor of barcelona. We were there quite a while and have some nice memories now.
Day 42014/04/04
A cathedral at the top of tibidabo. Excellent view over the whole city and the sea. Take your time to watch! Even better view from the top of the cathedral.
A kolibri at our flat which we booked with air bnb. Nice guest host which was kind.
Day 52014/04/05
Some typical sweets of Barcelona and a hot chocolate.
A sunny, windy day at the beach of Barcelona. It was a peace of cake to get there and just relax in the sand after a long day of walking during the city. Must have in Barcelona!
