You all know the pictures of chubby hairy men, floating on the surface and reading a newspaper. According to the warning labels all over the place, due to strong winds you better not do this (reading, I mean). En Bokek is free of charge and clean, so it was my favourite beach at the Dead Sea.
War zone, birth place of Christian religion and home to the most important spot in Judaism. Honestly, this city has so much to offer, such a diversity of cultures, religions and races, that I really coulod not stand it. Especially in the old city you feel the tension with every step. Be warned, this place can become annoying really fast.
Haifa is a port and industrial town, was built along the hillside and therefore is not very walking friendly. The Bahai Garden as shown here is a must see. Everyone there was just lovely and after already three weeks in Israel I really enjoyed talking to polite and friendly people. Sorry to say but this is just the truth!
