Hearty yet dignified to eat in Haxnbauer. to several people you can share entire Shank (is settled then by weight). all Shank (for optional stand pig and calf) are very good but also very expensive - even for inner-city relationships. the device is Bavarian rustic but without kitsch, the service is friendly and very tidy.

In the Middle Ages markets and tournaments were held in this city square. Marienplatz was named after the Mariensäule, a Marian column erected in its centre in 1638 to celebrate the end of Swedish occupation. Today the Marienplatz is dominated by the New City Hall on the north side.
The New Town Hall is a town hall at the northern part of Marienplatz in Munich, Bavaria, Germany. It hosts the city government including the city council, offices of the mayors and part of the administration. In 1874 the municipality had left the Old Town Hall for its new domicile.
