GUM, Main Shopping Center in Moscow is located on the Red Square, opposite to Lenin's mausoleum. Before the revolution it was the most luxurious place in the capital, and so it stayed even in communism times. However, the goods offered in 70s or 80s wouldn't be seen as luxurious by most of us. Right now things got back normal, no typical human can buy anything here.
