Cyprus has been constantly a significant trading post between Europe, Africa and the Middle East, and throughout history someone has always wanted to take it from someone else. First the Mycenaeans grabbed it, then the Phoenicians, Egyptians, Assyrians and Persians. Alexander the Greattook it off them, then Ptolemy snatched it from him.
Beautiful Cyprus is the alleged birthplace of Aphrodite, goddess of beauty and love and it’s easy to see why. With turquoise waters, golden sands, ancient mosques and a rich history, it is no wonder that Mark Anthony gave this Mediterranean gem to his beloved Cleopatra.

Me and couple of students with teachers from high school flew to Cyprus for international exchange - Comenius Program. We met a lot of amazing people from Cyprus (and not only - the school that hosted us was Russian school on Cyprus!) and had a lot of fun there!
