Legend of the garden. At the end of the XIX century on the site of the lake Mir was an apple orchard. Prince Nicholas Svyatopolk- Mir ordered him to cut down on this place and dig up the lake. The time was spring, all apple trees were in bloom. Residents of the World refused to cut down trees. According to popular belief, hack blossom tree - a great sin, the people who are destroying young lives will be cursed, and their ilk will pursue unhappiness. But the prince did not want to give up their ideas and save time. Several trees he cut down first, and the rest - have destroyed the people hired them. Started to dig the lake. They said that when his unit killed many people. That day - that was an accident. Was among the dead man, the legend, the son of a local witch. His mother cursed this place, saying: "Let this lake will sink as many people as had been cut flowering trees."
After the collapse of the USSR Nesvizhsky castle came under the tutelage of the Ministry of Culture of Belarus, after which began the restoration. During the reconstruction were dismantled some of the old walls , has been updated watchtower. Supervisors explained the demolition of the walls of masonry due to the fragility of the builders of the castle admitted "shortcomings" (in particular, due to the excess flue passages in the walls).
Complete the restoration of the castle was planned in early 2012 , but the restoration ended in the summer of the same year. The official opening took place on 20 July 2012.
