I spent several sunny and full of fun days with my friends in Rome last autumn. It was my second visit in this city and I should say it must be in everyone's bucket list!
Day 12013/09/25
Here we are - me and my friend Julia. Tried to find the right way among the thousand of tiny (and not so tiny) streets, alleys, squares of Rome. A bit lost but still very happy:)
One of the favorite spots in Rome - Piazza Navona. It's remarkable sight and also great place to watch the works of the street artists. There are also two huge fountains - it is very refreshing to sit somewhere near!)
Another tourists attraction is Piazza di Spagna. There are lots of fashion boutiques around this place, but I prefer to come here in the evening, when the sun is down and the heat is subsided, to sit on the steps with some gelato or icy lemonade and just watch passers-by.
One of the most beautiful things about Rome is Stone Pine tree. They are so impressive and so harmonized with the ancient city they say the stone pine has been an aesthetic landscape element since the year dot.
