Visible from my company's building. 20 Fenchurch Street, or the Walkie-Talkie as it is nicknamed for its shape, reportedly lit cars on fire in the streets when it was first unveiled due the reflection of sunlight.
This London business district skyscraper reminded me of an oddly shaped Faberge egg but was fun to look at. The beauty is that you don't have to travel far to see a good many unique buildings in London.
I'm sorry I can't quite remember which pub this was, but it was very indicative of the after work culture in the London business district. No place to sit, and suits as far as the eye can see. Didn't have a single beer I didn't like in the UK.
